    On August 29th at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven, Head of Polish Government visited Sweden.

    The visit of the Polish delegation was related to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of establishing Polish-Swedish diplomatic relations. Polish Prime Minister visited places related in Stockholm to Polish history. At the cemetery of St. John, the Head of Government laid a bouquet at the monument of the victims in Katyń. A very important point of the visit was a meeting at the Embassy of Poland with representatives of the Polish community in Sweden. The Prime Minister, in speech, emphasized the importance of Polish diaspora organizations for the integration of Polish community and the promotion of Polish culture and history among Polish citizens living in Sweden. The Head of the  Government met also with the presidents and owners of the largest Swedish companies, which belong to the biggest investors in Poland. During the meeting issues of joint economic projects and increasing Swedish investments in Poland were raised. The culmination of the visit to Sweden was a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Stefan Löfven. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the issues of political and economic cooperation, security and diverse topics on the agenda of the European Union.
