    The meeting was held on the initiative of GUM at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm on September 13, 2019.

    GUM is one of the most internationalized medical universities in Poland - about 20% are students from abroad, of which the most numerous are Swedes (about 400 students). The meeting was organized as part of a project implemented by GUM: "Hand in Hand into the Future", implemented from the NAWA National Academic Exchange Agency program "International Alumni". The project includes activities aimed at i.a  developing and strengthening relations with foreign graduates of GUM.


    The meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm was attended by Prof. Marcin Gruchała – GUM Vice-Chancellor, Mr Jacek Kaczmarek – coordinator of the project, representatives of GUM, Mr Janusz Kasina - President of the World Federation of Polish Medical Organizations, Swedish graduates of GUM, current GUM students and candidates for studies at GUM. Within this project, on September 16, 2019, GUM organized also (in cooperation with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Gothenburg  Mr Göran Hult) similar meeting in Gothenburg.
