In cooperation with the Polish Horse Breeders Association, a collection of hay for Swedish stud farms is taking place.

This year’s drought and catastrophic fires have made their mark on Swedish horse breeders. Lack of feed for the winter means a significant portion of Swedish breeders will be forced to sell their horses to slaughter. Fortunately, in the wake of the Polish firefighters’ endeavours to quell the fires, Polish horse breeders have organised a relief effort for Swedish horses. Several stud farms from Pomorze and Mazowsze regions have offered help in collecting the necessary feed. The initiators would like to send 50 trucks of feed to Scandinavia. So far, hay worth 60.000 PLN has been collected. It is noteworthy that this action is a form of thanking Sweden, which helped rebuild many Polish stud farms after the 2nd World War.
