    More than 30 exhibitors, performances of folk groups, Warsaw Village Band concert, but first of all – few thousands visitors. The celebration of Poland 100th anniversary of independence took place in on of the Sweden’s most popular tourist places.

    On 15 and 16 September, Embassy of Poland in Stockholm, Polish Institute and Polish Tourist Organisation hosted at Stockholm’s Skansen an extraordinary event to commemorate Independence of Poland. Taking the advantage of a wonderful autumn weather, few thousands of Stockholmians and tourists were able to get aquainted with Polish culture and tradition, but also with the tourist offer of Polish cities and regions.

    Painters, jewelers, lace makers, bee keepers, Łowicz-style paper-cutters and many others were present among the exhibitors. Representatives of Kraków and Tricity (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot) were inviting visitors to their wonderful cities. Those who were hungry could eat a traditional military pea soup, offered by the Military Attache of Poland in Stockholm.

    Cracovia Danza, Janusz Prusinowski Kompania, Blichowiacy, Piastowie and Polonez were inviting guests to dance. The main point of Days was though the concert of Warsaw Village Band. Representatives of the Polish community in Sweden, diplomatic corps and others were invited to this great performance.

    Polish Days at Skansen attracted few thousands visitors. The place were one can learn more about Swedish culture and tradition was dominated for two days by the culture and tradition from Poland.
